Privacy Policy
ParlayFree is built for people dealing with something private. We take that seriously. Here is exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
When you use ParlayFree, the app stores only what it needs to work:
- Account information. An anonymous user ID. An email address only if you choose to add one. No real name required.
- Usage data. Check-ins, streak length, game day plans, urge intensity ratings, and any journal entries you write.
- Device information. Operating system, app version, and general region (country only).
- Subscription information. A token from Apple (in the iOS app) or Stripe (on the web) confirming your subscription status. We never store card numbers.
What we don't collect
- Your real name, unless you give it to us
- Your betting history, sportsbook accounts, or financial account details
- Precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone access
- Data from third-party apps or services on your device
- Advertising identifiers (we do not show ads)
How we use your data
Only to run the app. To track your streak. To send the reminders you opted into. To calculate your recovery stats and money-saved estimates. To process your subscription. That is the whole list.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build a profile of you beyond what the app needs to function.
Anonymous sign-in
You can use ParlayFree without an email address. Anonymous accounts are fully functional. We assign a random ID and that's it. Email is only needed if you want to recover your account on a new device.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions in the iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment information directly. We receive only a confirmation that your subscription is active and which tier you are on.
Web subscriptions, if used, are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your payment information directly. We never see or store card numbers.
Sensitive content
Journal entries and check-in notes are stored encrypted and are tied to your account only. No employee reviews them. They are not used for analytics, training, or any other purpose. They exist so you can read them later. Nothing else.
Data retention
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days. Backups are purged on the same schedule. You can request deletion any time at support@parlayfree.com or directly from the iOS app's settings screen.
Third-party services
The following services help operate ParlayFree:
- Apple App Store. iOS subscription billing.
- RevenueCat. Subscription state management for the iOS app.
- Stripe. Payment processing for web subscriptions.
- Supabase. Encrypted database and authentication.
- Vercel. Web hosting and infrastructure.
- Resend. Transactional email (account recovery, receipts).
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share with each only the minimum data required for them to function.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, or delete your account at any time. If you live in the EU, UK, California, or any region with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@parlayfree.com. We respond within 30 days.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Database row-level security ensures users can only access their own data. We use industry-standard authentication and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we would want our own treated.
Children
ParlayFree is for adults. The app is rated 17+ on the App Store and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact support@parlayfree.com and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will notify you in the app and by email if you have one on file. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
